CERN Health Insurance Scheme (CHIS) – UNIQA office moving back to the Main Building from the 1st of October

From the 1st of October 2025, the UNIQA office will be located back in the Main Building in the newly refurbished CERN Community Support Centre (CCSC).

Due to the move, the UNIQA office will be exceptionally closed on Tuesday the 30th of September. The UNIQA team will still be reachable by email and phone.

Alongside the UNIQA office there will be other internal services for the CERN community, however, please note that UNIQA opening hours will remain the same:

Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

A UNIQA letterbox will be reinstated in the Main Building and one can also be found on the ground floor in building 33 – CERN Community Support Centre (CCSC). It is also possible to send documents to UNIQA via the myUNIQA app or by internal mail.

Move More, Eat Better campaign – 16th of September 2025

While staying active and eating well is important all year round, on the 16th of September you will be able to benefit from useful advice and tips about healthy lifestyles during a special campaign on the Meyrin site!

Interactive information stands will be located at R1 and the Main Building from 10 am to 3 pm and you can attend the expert talks hosted by professionals from HUG and other CERN partners in the Main Auditorium from 12.30pm to 2pm.

Rising temperatures and heat waves pose a serious risk to our health. Heat can cause fatigue, headaches and can also lead to dehydration or heat stroke.
